I have just added some more conference dates for 2017 and 2018. Also, as well as our regular destinations we have added a few new ones like Leicester, Cambridge, Glasgow, Belfast, Cardiff and Chester.
All of the details for the training, content and a booking form can be found on the conferences tab on the blog. It would be BRILLIANT to see you there!
During our Excellence in Early Years day we get the opportunity to discuss what ‘excellent’ Early Years practice can look like. How to set up an effective, engageing environment. How to make your continuous provision truly continuous, how to plan for high levels of engagement, plus lots more!
The transition into Year One from Reception can be tricky. When done well it can have a significant impact on children’s emotional and academic development. When done badly it can set some children’s development back by up to a year.
This course has been designed as a result of a number of transition projects that have tracked children’s social, emotional and academic achievement before, during and after transition.
There will be lots of practical ideas to help adults to plan for and create an effective learning environment that promotes high levels of attainment in Year One based on the effective principles of EYFS practice.
In this conference we will discuss what quality outdoor play looks like, the importance and benefits of outdoor play, ideas on setting up an outdoor play space (on a budget!), planning for outdoor and the role of the adult in the space. Lots of practical ideas to take back to your setting whether your outside space be big or small!
